No excuses! As our world continues to spiral into chaos, rarely has there been a better time to reassess your personal and professional safety than now. According to the BLS, in 2020 “There were 37,060 nonfatal injuries in the workplace resulting from an intentional injury by another person.” And those are just the ones we are aware of… Unfortunately, in today’s world, threats can come from many sources. Take the time today, this week, this month to assess your security and safety. Business leaders take the time to ensure that employees are trained, action plans are put in place, simulation training is provided, and your employees trust that when incidents are reported they will be taken seriously and investigated. There is so much more we can do to keep ourselves, our families, our colleagues, and our community safe. Don’t pretend this can’t happen to you or at your place of work!
