Dr. John Haymore is a full-time assistant professor of management and an expert in workplace violence prevention, occupational health & safety, and human resources. For nearly 20 years, he has worked across various industries, including health care, energy, science, government, engineering, technology, aerospace, bio-medical, manufacturing, higher education, faith-based institutions, and non-profit. John is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Academy of Human Resource Development (AHRD).

Dr. Haymore earned his Ph.D. in organization development and change (ODC) and is a board-certified workplace violence and threat specialist (WVTS). Additionally, John earned his MBA in Management as well as PHR, SHRM-CP, OSHA-30, and Lean Six Sigma professional certifications. His research interests include violence, occupational health & safety, employee coping, and strategic human resources.

John practices HaganaH and provides corporate self-defense training in hand-to-hand, empty-hand versus knife, ground survival, and active shooter. He is CPR and First On The Scene certified by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians' - International Association of Fire Chiefs.
